According to Forbes, Lewis Hamilton‘s earnings were $54 million dollars as of June of 2020.
He was named Britain’s wealthiest sports star in the 2020 Sunday Times Rich List, increasing his wealth to £224 million ($313 million), making him the wealthiest sports star on the list ever.
He even overtook David Beckham, who at the time of his retirement was worth £200 million ($279 million).
The F1 title winner has won a joint-record seven World Drivers’ Championship titles, tied with Michael Schumacher. He holds the record for the most wins (97), pole positions (100) and podium finishes (168) as well.
In 2019, he signed a new two-year contract paying more than $40 million a year, including bonuses, and he has endorsements from companies including Vodafone.
He also dabbled in music, including a secret collaboration with a well-known pop star, and worked with Tommy Hilfiger.
