In the clip, directed and edited by Jake Lewis, Jamie as Robin is on set of the movie 1982 movie Mork and Mindy when his co-star Pam Dawber (played in the clip by Sarah Murphree) breaks the news of John Belushi‘s death to him.

If you didn’t know, John died in March 1982 from a drug overdose at the Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles when he was 33-years-old. Just hours before his death, Robin was with John.

“No, I told you, I was with him. John’s not dead, I was with him last night,” an emotional Jamie says when he hears the news.

The conversation ends with a knock on the door, signaling it’s time to return to set. Jamie as Robin takes a moment to collect himself, sits in front of a mirror to recite some of his lines, but with a crack in his voice.

He then stands up, shakes himself off, and snaps back into his energetic demeanor.

After watching the clip, fans took to Twitter to praise Jamie for his portrayal of Robin.

“BLOWN AWAY by #JamieCosta in this ‘test’ footage. WE NEED A BIOPIC STAT!” one fan wrote.

Another wrote, “Wow. Just. Wow. I’ve seen his work for years, way back in those primordial Vine days. Jamie Costa is one of the best impressionists EVER. We need a biopic and Jamie Costa needs to be Robin.”

“Absolutely blown away by this! To capture a person’s true essence so beautifully in 5 minutes. AMAZING,” another fan tweeted.

Robin died by suicide back in 2014. He was 63.
