Katie Price was seen with shopping bags in hand on a spot of retail therapy during a break from her treatment at The Priory this week.

The star headed out amid her stay in rehab following an arrest following an early-morning car crash which saw her arrested and later plead guilty to driving while disqualified, driving without insurance and driving while unfit to drive through drink.

It also emerged that Katie had a positive swipe for cocaine, prompting her to enter rehab facility clinic The Priory in London.

Hitting the shops earlier this week Katie, 43, was seen wearing a white shirt, grey trackie bottoms and glistening, white trainers, with a Louis Vuitton bag slung over her shoulder, as she apparently headed to a nail salon and a nearby café amid her court-appointed treatment.

Since checking into treatment, Katie has been seen out on a past shopping trip, where she ducked into a beauty salon nearby the Priory, and was also photographed on a date night with fiance Carl Woods on Friday with her engagement ring remaining firmly on her finger this week.

It comes amid of the release of her book, Harvey And Me: A Mother’s Love, which has seen the star detail her relationship with son Harvey, 19, who is partially blind, has autism and also Prader-Willi Syndrome.

While the details of Katie’s stay at the Priory, which can cost thousands of pounds a week, are not clear, it’s reported patients who have not been detained under the Mental Health Act are able to leave the facility at the discretion of the facility team members.

Following her September 28 crash, Katie’s sentencing was deferred by chair of the bench Julie Hutton on the condition that she have treatment at The Priory and not commit any further offences. She’s also banned from driving in the interim. She’s set to be sentenced on December 15.

They said: ‘Kate acknowledges and takes full responsibility for her actions. She knows they were wrong and apologises.

‘Kate is deeply loved and she loves her family.

‘We are all there for her right now – and her children, who she loves dearly, are giving her strength as a mum.’

Her family had previously expressed their fears for the mother-of-five and her wellbeing following the crash.

A statement shared on social media read: ‘As a family we have for some time been concerned about Kate’s wellbeing and overall mental health. Today our worst fears nearly came true.

‘As a family we have been and will continue to help Kate get the help she needs.

‘We hope that she will realise that she cannot battle her issues alone. We would kindly ask that the media and wider public give Kate the time and space she needs to seek the necessary treatment, so she can hopefully return to the Kate we know and love as a mother, daughter and sister.’
