For some of you, you’ll be questioning your beliefs, views, and traditions this month…or the beliefs of those around you. Just because everyone else is doing it, saying it, posting it, or pursuing it doesn’t mean you have to. Try to bring consciousness to the decisions that you’re making, and ask yourself who you’re trying to keep up with? Start to explore the religions, careers, and social dynamics that intrigue you without worrying about what other people may think. You only live once. And if you believe in reincarnation, you only live in this vessel once!
The Fool: April is about to be filled with wild opportunities and the chance to take big (prosperous) risks, Aquarius! Expect yourself to come to a crossroads you weren’t expecting, and trust in yourself to make the right choice. For some of you, someone from the past is going to reach out in order to apologize for their past mistakes and reenter your life. You will have the final say on whether or not you would like to welcome them back in. Be sure with every opportunity this month that you’re prioritizing yourself and your boundaries in order to lead an emotionally healthy life.
If you’re looking for a sign: It’s time to take that leap of faith with your creative business idea. If feelings of doubt and insecurity have been creeping in, try to decipher between anxiousness and intuition in the month ahead. You are not your thoughts—you are the ruler of your thoughts. Choose wisely which ones you choose to engage in. Give more time and attention to the things that make you feel energized and confident in April, and watch the way the world rewards you. You are about to be very prosperous if you move this idea forward!
The Moon: The last few months may have left you confused and feeling alone. Let yourself listen to what your emotions are trying to share with you. If you’ve noticed yourself becoming short-tempered, this is the time to start honoring anger as our signal that something in our external reality doesn’t quite fit. Who or what is grinding your gears? Feel free to readjust the way that you approach the world. If you need time alone, time away, or time to think—take it! Time is our most valuable asset, and it can’t be replenished. Do not waste it on the people or situations that leave you feeling confused and shameful.
Is there someone in your life that you look up to as an example of how you would like to live your life going forward? Try to stay in an inspired space as frequently as you possibly can. Travel safely if you can. A change of scenery seems to be the remedy that your spirit is calling out for (even if this means working from a different part of your home for a week). Let yourself step outside of your comfort zone, think outside of the box, and watch what happens. You’ll be pleasantly surprised with the ideas and solutions that arrive to you from this new space.
Ten of Swords: There is an ending happening for you, my water-bearer, and February is asking you to move onward and upward, finally laying the past to rest. When we go through loss, we must treat the transition with extra care, honoring our grieving process.
You may be letting go of a part of your identity, and it’s causing you to feel like an exposed nerve. Instead of suffering in silence, call upon a friend to help give you a new perspective. However, it’s important that you remember to take advice from people you admire and trust. Not everyone can give you the objective advice you need; it’s important that you use discernment with whom you ask to help you in your healing process. You know the answer deep down, but having someone mirror the truth back to you with love is an invaluable gift.
Six of Pentacles: It’s time to get grounded and embrace routine, my water bearer. Stability does not have to mean boredom; some of life’s greatest gifts come from dedication. Pick a practice (whether it be yoga, an exercise routine, or a relationship) and stick through it.
You’ll never know who you are at the edges of your own limitations if you don’t allow yourself to get there. Not all of life has to be about being different, unique, or contrarian. You can find excitement in the seemingly mundane, if only you look a bit harder.
