Coronation Street actress Georgia Taylor, who plays Toyah Battersby in the soap, has shared a super sweet photo with her actor husband Mark Letheren
Coronation Street star Georgia Taylor looks so happy with her famous partner Mark Letheren in the Lake District.
The actress, who plays Toyah Battersby in the soap, was visiting Ullswater with Mark, who is an actor himself.
“All of the weather and all of the walks,” Georgia wrote along the stunning images, which showed the Lakes at their finest.
Captioning an adorable selfie of the pair in which they both look more than a little windswept she gushed: “With my one @markletheren #thelakes.”
Mark, 50, played journalist Simon Kitson in police drama The Bill as well as counsellor Ben Harding in BBC One’s Casualty.
The actor, who is also a photographer also had a recurring role as DS Kevin Geoffries in ITV crime drama Wire in the Blood.
Fans loved Georgia’s pics with one saying: “Love this, you gorgeous pair.”
While another wrote: “Gorgeous views and gorgeous couple.”
Georgia, 41, shot to fame on the cobbles as gobby teenager Toyah Battersby, but it was on the set of Casualty that she met Mark in 2008.
Georgia joined the BBC show as regular Ruth Winters in 2007.
The actress tied the knot with Mark following a blossoming romance on the set of the hospital drama.
The Wigan-born star decided to leave Corrie in 2002, but Georgia made a return and was seen back on-screen in December 2016 following a thirteen-year absence.
She has also played parts in the likes of Where the Heart Is, Casualty, Law and Order: UK and Life on Mars.
On the big screen, Georgia has worked alongside a youthful Dominic Cooper in the 2006 movie History Boys and Jason Statham in 2008 for The Bank Job.
Earlier this year the actress hit back at a troll who made a dodgy comment about the way her character dressed when she was a teenager.
Georgia was sent a tweet from one of her followers saying they liked how her character Toyah Battersby dressed in 1997 when she first started the ITV soap.
Disgusted by the comment Georgia replied: “In Classic Corrie I was playing a 15 year old schoolgirl but hey whatever floats your massive pervy boat.”
