Couple slammed for giving chef printed instructions on how to prepare burgers

The couple, named Karen and Alan, from the US, prepared the sheet which was titled “How to prepare Alan and Karen’s burgers to go” and were almost roundly criticised about it online

The list was bullet pointed, with instructions to even put cheese in different containers, as well as vegetables

A couple were criticised online after going to a restaurant and bringing a printed out sheet of instructions for the chef on how to prepare their food.

Their requests included separating the meat and buns of their burgers, with fries separated between containers.

The couple, named Karen and Alan, from the US, prepared the sheet which was titled “How to prepare Alan and Karen’s burgers to go”.

The list was bullet pointed, with instructions to even put cheese in different containers, as well as vegetables.

“OK, so I don’t usually post, but this I couldn’t resist,” a server captioned a post she made in Facebook group Don’t F With Your Server.

“Two guests came in today with their own printed instructions on how they wanted their food prepared.

“Absof*****glutely, Karen …” the staffer joked.

People came to the post in their droves, almost to roundly to criticise the couple.

“Stay home! And cook it yourself!” one annoyed person wrote.

“Solution: foil wrap & bag it. Bye, Karen,” another responded, while a third said: “The names say it all.”

“LOL!!!!! My restaurant would say no. We don’t waste to go containers on stupidity,” another server from a different restaurant said pointedly.

But among all the dissenting comments was some defence.

“They will probably put the meat and the fries in a thermal warming bag. I would accept the compliment that they chose your restaurant for their road trip meal,” one person wrote.
