Joe Biden met with his son’s Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakhstani business associates while vice president, emails show.
Hunter Biden wrote to a friend before the 2015 Washington DC dinner that it was ‘ostensibly to discuss food security’, but was in fact an opportunity to introduce his potential clients and partners to his powerful father.
The shocking communications appear to fly in the face of the president’s claim that he had no knowledge of his son’s business activities.
Yet the White House has remained silent over the revelations – and has failed to respond to every request for comment about illegal activity and scandalous behavior evidenced on Hunter’s abandoned laptop, obtained and exclusively verified by DailyMail.com.
A guest list Hunter prepared for the dinner at the private ‘Garden Room’ at Georgetown’s Café Milano included corrupt, late former Moscow mayor Yury Luzhkovhis wife Russian billionaire Yelena Baturina, and a Mexican ambassador.
Newly unearthed emails show Joe Biden did indeed meet with his son’s Russian, Ukrainian and Kazakhstani business associates while he was vice president after Hunter organized a dinner at a Georgetown restaurant in April 2015
Vadym Pozharskyi, an executive at now-infamous Ukrainian energy firm Burisma where Hunter was a board member, wrote an email the day after thanking Hunter for the ‘opportunity to meet your father’
WFP USA founder Rick Leach and Kazakhstan banker Marc Holtzman also both emailed Hunter after the dinner thanking him
Weeks before the event, Hunter told Michael Karloutsos, the son of the then-head of the Greek Orthodox Church who was also invited, that ‘the reason for the dinner is ostensibly to discuss food security,’ adding ‘Dad will be there but keep that btw us for now’
The US Treasury flagged in suspicious activity reports $3.5million in wires sent by Baturina to Hunter’s firm Rosemont Seneca Thornton LLC in February 2014.
The investment firm was co-founded by the president’s son and Devon Archer, former adviser to then-Secretary of State John Kerry, who helped organize and attended the Café Milano dinner.
One attendee, an executive at now-infamous Ukrainian energy firm Burisma where Hunter was a board member, wrote an email the day after thanking Hunter for the ‘opportunity to meet your father’.
‘Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure’, Vadym Pozharskyi wrote on April 17, 2015.
Pozharskyi’s email first emerged in October, when the contents of Hunter’s laptop were first leaked by the New York Post, however, Biden’s campaign at the time blasted the report, and said a records search indicated no such meeting occurred.
Biden spokesman Andrew Bates said the paper ‘never asked the Biden campaign about the critical elements of this story…moreover, we have reviewed Joe Biden’s official schedules from the time and no meeting, as alleged by the New York Post, ever took place.’
The emails show Hunter, who was on the board of the World Food Program USA at the time, revealed to one guest that he was pretending the meeting was about food aid rather than his controversial business deals.
‘The reason for the dinner is ostensibly to discuss food security. Dad will be there but keep that btw us for now,’ Hunter wrote on March 26, 2015 to Michael Karloutsos, son of the then-head of the Greek Orthodox Church, who was also invited.

‘Everything is between us. All good!’ Karloutsos replied. ‘What is the UN Food Program called? I know you mentioned your dad would probably join the dinner as well. Anyone else of note?’
Hunter remained conspiratorial, cryptically adding that the ‘most notable’ other guest was ‘the Prime minister of a country I’ll tell you over phone.’
‘Also CEO of WFPUSA [World Food Program USA] and a few other interesting people,’ he wrote.
A week earlier Hunter wrote to Archer with a proposed guest list for the dinner.
‘3 seats for our KZ friends. 2 seats for Yelana and husband. 2 you and me. 3 seats for WFPUSA people. Vadym. 3 Ambassadors (MX, ?, ?). Total 14,’ the May 20 email said.
Archer replied telling Hunter to ‘save a seat for your guy’ – a common euphemism for Joe Biden between Hunter and his colleagues – and added ‘and mine if he’s in town,’ a possible reference to Secretary Kerry.
Some of the proposed guests may not have attended.
Archer wrote to Hunter that ‘Yelena doesn’t want to steal Yuri’s Thunder so she’ll be in town to meet with us but doesn’t want to come to dinner. That was just her thoughts. We could insist.’
Two guests, WFP USA founder Rick Leach and Kazakhstan banker Marc Holtzman both emailed Hunter after the dinner thanking him.
In one email from March 15, 2015, Devon Archer – former adviser to then-Secretary of State John Kerry – forwarded to Hunter an invite from Holtzman to a ‘small private breakfast’ with the Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov

‘What a fantastic and productive evening – thank you!’ Leach wrote at 8.15pm that evening.
‘Deer [sic] Hunter, Thank you for an amazing evening, wonderful company and great conversation. I look forward to seeing you soon and to many opportunities to work closely together,’ Holtzman wrote the next day.
In their emails planning the dinner, Archer also wrote ‘Vuk’s in Europe at the time and cannot attend,’ an apparent reference to Vuk Jeremic, a Serbian diplomat and former president of the United Nations General Assembly.
Jeremic later became a consultant for Chinese energy giant CEFC, which partnered with Hunter on a multi-million-dollar oil and gas deal.
The former UN official later testified at the trial of Patrick Ho, Hunter’s CEFC business partner who was convicted of bribery by a federal judge in 2018.

But Archer forwarded to Hunter an invite from Holtzman to a ‘small private breakfast’ with the Kazakhstan Prime Minister Karim Massimov.
‘Prime Minister Massimov will be most delighted if you will please join us for a small breakfast at one table at the Willard Hotel, Holmes Suite from 8 am until 9 am,’ Holtzman’s email said.
‘There are several matters the Prime Minister is eager to discuss with you and he will be grateful for the opportunity to spend quality time together.’
In a 2016 email Hunter referred to Massimov as a ‘close friend’.
Concerns over Hunter’s dealings with Kazakhstanis were highlighted in a Senate report released last year, based on documents from his laptop.
The report said Ukrainian oligarch and Massimov associate Kenes Rakishev’s company Novatus wired $142,300 to Archer’s company, Rosemont Seneca Bohai LLC, on April 22 2014 via a Latvian bank.

A note on the wire documents said the cash was ‘for a car.’
The bombshell emails come days after DailyMail.com revealed former FBI director Louis Freeh gave $100,000 to a private trust for Joe Biden‘s grandchildren and met with the then-vice president in 2016 ‘to explore with him some future work options.’
The emails suggest Freeh was trying to establish a future business relationship with Biden – and the White House has failed to disclose to DailyMail.com whether Joe Biden discussed private business with Freeh while in office.
According to the messages, obtained by DailyMail.com from Hunter Biden‘s abandoned laptop, the former FBI director was working for three foreign businessmen and officials at the time, who were all later convicted of various corruption charges, including a multi-billion-dollar ransacking of a Malaysian wealth fund.
Freeh himself was not implicated in those charges
The 71-year-old, who served as FBI director under Bill Clinton and George Bush, ran a consultancy firm with highly controversial clients including a now-jailed Malaysian prime minister who stole billions of dollars from his country, a Romanian real estate tycoon convicted of bribery, and a French-Israeli diamond magnate later convicted of bribery and a $145 million property graft.
AUTHENTICATING HUNTER’S LAPTOP
DailyMail.com commissioned cyber forensics experts at Maryman & Associates to examine the hard drive to determine its authenticity.
The firm’s founder, Brad Maryman, was a 29-year veteran of the FBI, served as a Chief Information Security Officer and founded the bureau’s cyber forensics unit. His partner, Dr. Joseph Greenfield, is an associate professor at the University of Southern California and helped write their degree program in intelligence and cyber operations.
After an extensive analysis of the hard drive, Greenfield and Maryman produced a report for DailyMail.com detailing their findings.
Using the same forensic tools as federal and state law enforcement in criminal investigations, they found a total of 103,000 text messages, 154,000 emails and more than 2,000 photos.
– They found emails for multiple accounts on the laptop dating back to 2009, and other data which ‘appears to be related to Mr. Biden’ between 2016 and 2019.
– The report’s findings were consistent with the known timeline for the hard drive. A Wilmington, Delaware computer store work order with Hunter’s signature shows he left his 2017 MacBook Pro laptop there on April 12, 2019.
– The Maryman & Associates report said the original ‘Macintosh HD’ drive was created on March 28, 2018
– Hunter’s iCloud email address was added to the laptop’s system on October 21 2018, as well as his work email at his firm Rosemont Seneca on February 2 2019.
– The same day, a Gmail address he used to log onto sex cam sites, and another personal Gmail address belonging to Hunter, were also added.
– Beau Biden’s old Gmail account was added on February 7 2019.
– Emails addressed to Hunter’s various email addresses dating from December 2009 to December 2020 were found on the system.
– An iPad with the name ‘Hunter’s iPad’ and three email addresses associated with the Biden family was backed up on the laptop and on iCloud in January 2019 and again a month later.
– Greenfield found 818 call logs in this iPad backup with timestamps from June 2016 to February 2019.
– There were 8,942 entries in the iPad’s contacts book, created between April 2016 and January 2019.
– In February 2019 an iPhone XS was also synced with the laptop. Its serial number was consistent with the timestamps of the data on the phone.
In conclusion, ‘The operating system timestamps appear to be authentic, and no evidence was found to suggest that the timestamps or data were altered or manufactured,’ the report said. ‘No indications were found that would suggest the data was manufactured.’
