Emmerdale killer returns to soap next week ahead of claiming next victim

Emmerdale spoilers confirm Meena Jutla heads back to the village next week on the ITV soap, after a brief break away from the show

Emmerdale villagers are about to welcome back a villainous character, as killer Meena Jutla makes her return to the village.

Having recently left for Ibiza, the character is back – as everyone remains unaware of the danger they might be in.

Meena unwillingly left with her sister Manpreet Sharma in early September, as Manpreet’s daughter Aiesha was left fighting for her life after a crash in Ibiza.

The former character had come off her moped and was seriously injured, with her loved ones told she was in a critical condition and could die.

Meena didn’t want to go in fear of love rival Victoria Sugden making a move on her boyfriend David Metcalfe.

Since then, David has been shot and almost died during a siege, after taking a bullet for Victoria.

He’s been in hospital but is now back home, with Meena away the entire time.

Of course when she finds out what went down, she wastes no time in paying Victoria a visit.

Having seen the pair together and knowing how Victoria feels, she forbids her from visiting her boyfriend ever again.

Victoria is left unsettled as she threatens her, and shows just how possessive she can be.

One thing is for certain, Meena is back and she is prepared to do what it takes to keep David all to herself.

Victoria should watch out as she is firmly on Meena’s hit list given her closeness to David, and it’s already been teased by bosses that she will certainly kill again.

Who the mystery victim will be and when they will die obviously remains unknown for the time being, but after Leanna Cavanagh’s death it really could be anyone.

It comes amid cast members filming a deadly water stunt, while details are being kept under wraps.

David and Victoria are both set to feature in the scenes it is believed, after the cast members who play them were spotted filming on location.

The pair appear to be struggling in the water, while vicar Charles Anderson also appears to be there.

It’s not clear what causes the incident or what happens, with those involved yet to be confirmed.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
