Loose Women’s Linda Robson was left red-faced when she realised she was live on air after dropping the F-bomb
The Loose Women panel erupted into chaos on Thursday’s instalment of the ITV programme when Linda Robson accidently said f**k on air.
The Loose ladies were discussing ITV’s incredible competition where viewers are in with the chance of winning a whopping one-million-pounds when Linda dropped the F-bomb.
The camera cut to the 63-year-old TV star who wheeled the tickets onto the studio floor – but she was having quite the palava trying to open the box.
“Oh hello ladies,” Linda said as she wheeled the chart out.
“They’ve left me in charge of the prize – can you believe it?
“This is it! It’s one-million-pounds right here in this trolley. It came straight from the ITV bank account this morning.
“But how the f**k do I open it?” she yelled.
The Loose Women immediately gasped, before they realised that Linda thought she was offf-air.
“Are we live on air? I’m sorry I thought it was the rehearsal,” Linda insisted.
Loose Women panellist Charlene White apologised profusely for Linda’s slip of tongue, but luckily, viewers found the whole ordeal rather hilarious.
“Oh! We’re so sorry. I would like to apologise for Linda’s language, she knows that she has done wrong. We want to apologise for Linda’s slip. Many apologies,” Charelene insisted.
“So sorry to viewers,” she added.
However, viewers soon tweeted in their dozens, even branding Linda a ‘legend’.
“Linda!!!!! Dropping the F-bomb on Loose Women. What a legend,” gushed one viewer.
“She’s a British icon and I’ll hear no different,” another quipped.
“You’d swear she had flashed her boobs on live TV or something. Everybody curses, it’s not a bid deal,” someone else insisted.
“Ohhhhh, I bet Linda is kicking herself now backstage. Mortifying,” another suggested.
Meanwhile, another Loose Women viewer joked: “I just saw Charlene’s soul leave her body when Linda said f**k. The best part from today’s show without a doubt.”
Linda’s slip of the tongue comes after the much-loved TV star opened up on how being a part of the Loose Women panel brought her back from ‘rock bottom’.
The star’s depression worsened during the first few weeks of lockdown, but returning to work on Loose Women proved essential to her recovery.
In a candid interview she revealed she struggled with being indoors and not being able to see her family when the UK was plunged into lockdown in March 2020.
And she told when she was given the chance to return to the ITV daytime show it proved to be her ‘saving grace’.
Linda told the Daily Star: “During the first couple of weeks of lockdown, I was so depressed.
“I was stuck indoors; I couldn’t go and see my grandchildren. My sister and my niece both had breast cancer and I couldn’t even go to see them.
“But then we went back to work on the show five weeks after the first lockdown and that was our saving grace. Loose Women has helped me through some really tough times.”
