The 36-year-old track and field paralympian’s name was announced on Good Morning Britain today and revealed that she was excited to be joining the show
Paralympian Stef Reid is the latest star to join the Dancing On Ice line-up, joining Coronation Street star Sally Dynevor and Happy Mondays’ Bez.
The 36-year-old track and field paralympian’s name was announced on Good Morning Britain today and revealed that she was excited to be joining the show.
It comes after soap actress Sally, who plays Sally Metcalfe, was announced this year’s first confirmed contestant yesterday.
Whilst discussing her new adventure, she told ITV’s Lorraine: “If I don’t do it this year I don’t think I’m ever going to do it. I’m completely out of my comfort zone… I’ve just got to try and enjoy this experience.
“I’ve had a couple of lessons, I’ve just started… it’s started to kick in, the training.”

Bez was later announced as the second contestant on This Morning by hosts Holly Willoughby and Loose Women.
“At the moment it’s more like Bambi on Ice, not Dancing On Ice,” he said .
“How I got picked I don’t know because I was absolutely awful at the audition but they must have seen some potential in me!
“I’m looking forward to learning a new skill and I can’t wait for the Christmas ice rinks again and I can get on there and really show off.”

It comes after it was confirmed on Sunday that John Barrowman won’t be appearing as a judge on the new series.
The star is instead being lined up for the channels All Star Musicals specials, which he is said to be “thrilled about”.
Former Strictly judge Arlene Phillips is reportedly set to replace John on the show to make her return to primetime TV for the first time since 2009.
“The fact that Arlene is a mature woman with decades of experience in the dance world is seen as a huge asset for Dancing On Ice,” an insider told The Sun.
“In contrast to what people see as her harsh treatment by Strictly, ITV bosses see her seniority as a brilliant way to create a diverse panel of experts on the show.
“It means the DOI judges are now made of two men and two women spanning an extensive age range.”
It’s claimed Arlene has been discussing her potential role on the ITV show with producers “for days”.
